Encore Search Management Software Questions? Answers.
We have a few employees who will always need remote access. Is that possible in Encore?
There are a number of ways to connect remotely to the Encore database. Encore is optimized to run over a VPN (Virtual Private Network) and Microsoft Terminal Services. For maximum flexibility, we recommend that you take a look at our Slingshot Add-In. It's an HTML-based interface that works on both the Web and wireless handheld devices (Palm or PocketPC).

Does Encore support international usage?
Encore handles multiple currencies (including exchange rates), international phone codes, and alphanumeric postal codes. Our built-in spell checking feature accommodates six languages. And if your company has multiple office locations (whether across the country or across the world), Encore handles real-time data updates.

How does Encore handle our résumés?
Encore gives you a couple of options: you can link your files to a record or you can scan and OCR résumés through our integrated Imaging System. With our powerful Document Manager, you can keep tabs on all of the files associated with a candidate in your system.

What exactly is Cluen's exclusive Résumé Firewall™ technology?
Consider it aspirin for the usual headache of online résumé collection. Through our Searchlight add-in, our Résumé Firewall™ technology allows you to filter out the candidates you don't want—they'd only clutter your database—and let the ones who meet your specifications directly into Encore. It minimizes data entry and bad data, and maximizes your time to spend on building your business.
